We are an authorised service centre for Bosch, Shimano, Rocky Mountain Dyname 4.0 and Mahle systems. We can look at issues and often resolve problems with other brands too such as Brose, Yamaha and Fazua

REMOVAL AND FITTING OF NEW/RE-CONDITIONED DRIVE UNIT

We can process warranties for bikes of any brand, bought from any shop, on provision of proof of purchase. We do still charge our labour costs though.

DRIVeTRAIN REPLACEMENT

The huge amounts of torque on a modern e-bike will wear drivetrain components significantly faster than on an analogue bike. However, this can be slightly alleviated by using more rider input! Use the full range of gears to maximise the lifespan of components.

When they are eventually worn out, we recommend replacing with e-bike specific components where possible, such as Shimano Linkglide and steel chainrings as in many cases the OEM parts are not adequate.

WHEELS AND FREEHUBS

This is a common area for issues on e-bikes. The huge amounts of extra torque will place further stresses on bearings as well as the engagement points on the freehub. Many OEM wheels are not upto the job. We will often replace with E-bike specific hubs where possible from brands such as DT Swiss and Hope.
